Crigglestone Community Theatre Company (more fondly known as 'Crigg') is a well- established and successful theatre company which was founded over 60 years ago in 1959. As you can see from our history, since then the society has gone from strength to strength.

We are a lively bunch of thespians who have performed at various venues including Theatre Royal Wakefield, Ossett Town Hall and Wakefield Arts Centre. To suit everyone's talents we perform musicals (old and new), cabarets, plays and pantomimes. We take to the stage twice a year but also enjoy responding to requests from the local community, which has seen us perform far and wide. Our commitment to Wakefield and the surrounding area has taken us from Pinderfields Spinal Unit (providing Christmas entertainment), to a Light Switch On in Horbury and we have even been on tour - entertaining our friends and supporters over the border into South Yorkshire.

Our thriving younger section - Kids from Crigg - also rehearse at the same venue. Children, from the age of five, are skilled in dance, drama and singing ready for their annual production. They perform musicals and cabarets to a very high standard and clearly enjoy themselves.
