Kids From Crigg
Welcome to Kids from Crigg. A fun-filled, exciting theatre experience for the younger age group. We offer a full range of acting, singing and dancing skills led by our enthusiastic Kids' Team (all member of Crigglestone Theatre Company). In addition, being part of Kids helps to develop the individual by improving literacy skills; developing self-confidence; encouraging teamwork and the support of others as well as independent thinking and problem-solving.
We undertake one to two shows a year of all different styles suitably adapted for young performers. This has ranged from Shakespeare to Dr Seuss, Disney to Gilbert & Sullivan. Everyone can audition and we love seeing the excitement of our members when the parts are allocated.
We accept children from the ages of five upwards and all our team are fully DBS checked and local authority chaperone approved.
Rehearsal nights are Monday (6:00pm - 7:30pm), Thursday (6:00pm - 7:30pm) and Sunday (10:00am - 12:30pm). The number of rehearsals per week will vary dependent upon the proximity of the show and the involvement of individuals. There is an annual membership fee of £10 with a weekly fee payable on a termly basis which equates to £3 per week. We try to keep school holidays rehearsal free as much as possible.
